Tim Dorton’s Bio
As Managing Partner, Tim leads TMD Associates Group LLC and its strategic alliances.
Tim has held multiple roles, most recently as the Director for the Center for Leadership and Development, focusing on healthcare and Civil Monetary Penalty Fund (CMP) initiatives. Tim spent seven years as a Regional Director at the Disney Institute and as a Client Partner and Facilitator at FranklinCovey, working directly with Stephen R. Covey, author of ‘7 Habits of Highly Effective People,’ on community and family-based initiatives. Tim served as a Healthcare Advisor at New Horizons. Tim was nominated as an IBM Multi-Media Technical Advisor from the IBM Institute. He has developed content and training programs for Walmart Health and Wellness’s 70,000 employees and, most recently, for Christ Hospital. In 2020, Tim was nominated by Governor Andy Beshear for the highest honor awarded by the Commonwealth of Kentucky: an honorary Kentucky Colonel. A Kentucky Colonel is an ambassador of goodwill and fellowship around the world, recognized for contributions to the community, state, or nation. Tim believes that compassion and empathy are the keys to success in any organization, including diversity, equity, and inclusion.
